I am on book 3 of the Wilderness saga. I must say I am in awe of the details about the history of the 1800s U.S. and Wisconsin in particular. Even more so about the everyday life and trials of pioneering farmers. I can't imagine the amount of research you did. I love history and these books are fascinating. I am looking forward to reading the entire series.

I was born in New Jersey in 1952 when my father was in the army we moved back to Superior ,Wisconsin which was both my parents hometown when I was 6 weeks old. I grew up in the neighborhood where my grandfather farmed a large portion of South Superior & I eventually married & raised 2 son the youngest is Joseph who lives in Superior with his wife & my 3 grandchildren. I moved to Duluth, Minnesota after my divorce & my oldest son Ryan lives a mile from me also in Duluth with his wife & their “2 fur babies”.
I am now 74 years old and read the books in this series every night when I go to bed. I have just started book 6 but have purchased all 12 books so I can go right to the next book as I finish one. I absolutely enjoy each & every story of the family members. I can imagine all of them in their homes with their farm & barns just like my grandfather’s. Warm & cozy. I certainly look forward to the continuation of “the Wilderness Saga”
